Hosting is one part of the job.
Hosting provides the place your website runs. Your domain is the address people use to find it. Neither, by itself, updates your opening hours, checks a broken inquiry journey or restores the right version after a problem. A useful maintenance agreement says who handles each of those jobs.
For a small business, the practical question is often simple: can you send one email when something needs changing? N+ Plus brings the agreed hosting, one eligible standard domain, technical upkeep, content updates, backups and standard recovery into one service.
What N+ Plus looks after.
- Hosting and domain renewals: managed hosting within the agreed usage limits and renewals for one eligible standard domain during the paid term.
- Small content updates: changes to supplied text, images and existing page content within the plan allowance.
- Technical upkeep: routine maintenance of the agreed site or app. The proposal identifies the systems and third-party services covered.
- Backups and standard recovery: restoring the managed site or app from an available clean backup, without a per-restore charge or annual numerical limit.
The proposal sets backup retention, usage limits and business-hours support arrangements. This is not a promise of round-the-clock staffing or zero downtime.
What counts as a small update?
Replacing a staff photo, changing opening hours or updating text on an existing service page are typical examples. A new booking system, a redesigned page layout or a customer portal changes what the site does and needs its own scope.
The website plan includes two small requests a month, with up to 30 minutes of combined hands-on work. Interactive-site and web-app plans include two requests with up to 60 minutes combined. That time covers making and checking the changes. Waiting, routine messages, maintenance, incident recovery and fixing our own mistakes do not use the allowance. Unused time does not roll over.
Example: send the new opening hours and an approved replacement photo together. We can assess the change before starting. If the work goes beyond the allowance, we confirm the additional cost first.
What happens if the site needs restoring?
A backup is useful only when it contains a recoverable version of the information you need. Standard restoration from available clean backups is included, whether the trigger is an accidental change or a technical disruption. Recovery does not consume your content-update allowance.
Following an attack, restoring files may not resolve the cause. Specialist forensics, extensive manual reconstruction or exceptional third-party costs require a separately approved scope. We state the recovery boundaries in the proposal rather than promise that every incident can be undone.
Managed service or Build & Handover?
N+ Plus suits owners who want ongoing help with the agreed essentials. The first year is prepaid. You can save 10% on the build fee and two years of service when both years are prepaid at launch. After the prepaid term, monthly and annual renewal options are available.
Build & Handover suits owners who already have someone to manage hosting and maintenance. You receive the agreed project source, an account and service guide, launch assistance, a walkthrough and 30 days of defect fixes against the agreed scope. A handover includes explaining what runs where and who renews it; it is more than a file download.
Your domain, content and agreed deliverables remain yours, subject to third-party licences. If you leave N+ Plus, we arrange an orderly handover. See the Build & Handover price list for starting scopes.
Keep the extras useful.
Business email, email campaigns, extra pages or languages, integrations and client portals can be quoted around your needs. They are not automatically part of website maintenance. A website and app can be planned together where that makes sense.
Before requesting a quote, tell us what is already live, which accounts you own, how often content changes and who should approve updates. Do not send passwords or private customer files in an inquiry. We review existing-site suitability before agreeing to take over maintenance.
