Compare the full starting commitment.
| Option | Starting commitment | After launch |
|---|---|---|
| Build & Handover | $1,500 build; payment schedule in your proposal | You arrange hosting, domain and upkeep separately |
| N+ Plus · one year | $2,550 prepaid: $750 build + 12 × $150 | Agreed hosting, domain, upkeep, updates, backups and recovery |
| N+ Plus · two years | $3,915 prepaid; 10% off setup and 24 months of care | The same defined care scope over two years |
The $150 figure is a monthly equivalent, not a monthly payment during the initial prepaid term. Service begins at launch. Prices are starting points for defined scopes; tax and separately quoted work are additional. The handover price and the managed total cover different responsibilities, so comparing only the build fees would be misleading.
What the website build includes.
The business website starting scope covers up to five pages, responsive layouts, basic page metadata, and a contact or booking link. You supply the approved business facts and brand assets. The process includes one design direction, a working preview, two consolidated revision rounds and launch assistance.
You receive project source, subject to third-party licences, and thirty days of fixes for reproducible defects against the agreed scope. Before commissioning the build, list the pages a customer needs: what you do, who it helps, the service details, and a clear way to contact you. See the full business website design scope.
What ongoing care actually covers.
N+ Plus includes agreed hosting, one eligible standard domain with renewals during your paid term, routine technical upkeep, backups and standard recovery from available clean backups. The business website plan includes two small content-update requests within a combined thirty minutes each month, with no rollover.
A supplied photo replacement or a text change on an existing page can fit that allowance. A new page layout, online store or booking integration needs a separate scope. The proposal sets usage limits, backup retention and business-hours support. Read the website maintenance guide before choosing who will handle each job.
What happens at renewal.
After your prepaid term, you can renew support monthly at the full $150 rate or prepay another year for $1,620, a 10% discount on that new year of support. There is no new setup fee. The renewal discount does not change the original build or first-year price.
You own your domain, content and agreed deliverables, subject to third-party licences. If you leave, we arrange an orderly handover. Ask for the payment schedule, cancellation terms, account access and handover responsibilities in the written proposal.
The additions that change a quote.
- More pages or languages: identify the pages, scripts, translations and approval work. See our English and Chinese website guide.
- Booking, payments or client accounts: a link to an existing service differs from a custom integration with data and access rules.
- Content and migration: list copywriting, photography, existing URLs, redirects and material that needs moving.
- Custom tools: calculators, saved results or repeated workflows have separate starting scopes. Use the website versus web app comparison to decide what to discuss.
- Third-party costs: identify subscriptions, licences, usage and premium domains before agreement.
A checklist for comparing any website proposal.
- What is the total due before launch and during the initial term?
- Which pages, content, features and revision rounds are included?
- Who owns the domain, source and service accounts?
- Who handles hosting, updates, backups and an incident?
- What support hours, usage limits and exclusions apply?
- What changes at renewal, cancellation or handover?
Choose handover when you have a realistic way to manage the site afterward. Choose a managed package when its defined ongoing responsibilities suit the business. Send your current website, the pages you need and who should handle care; we will confirm the scope and quote before you commit.
